Last Litter Program

Give mum a break. We’ll cover her desexing— your kittens get a safe start. 💜

Found yourself with a surprise litter? We’ve got you.

Our Last Litter Program helps stop the cycle, keeps mum safe, and gives her kittens the best chance at loving homes.

How it works (super simple):
Tell us about Mum & the kittens. We’ll confirm the details and book Mum’s desexing at one of our partner clinics after the full litter is surrendered.
At 8 weeks old, all kittens come into Enchanted Rescue care.
Mum gets desexed—free for you.
We book and pay the desexing fee for Mum at our vet.
You handle transport to/from the appointment. That’s it.

What we cover:
Mum’s desexing (spay) at no cost to you when the kittens are surrendered to us at 8 weeks.
Booking the appointment at one of our partner clinics (you choose your preferred location below).
Desexing partner vet locations:
- Hoppers Crossing
- Bayswater
- Bendigo
Appointments must be at our partner clinics—this part isn’t flexible, sorry!

What’s not included (but optional at our rescue rates)
Microchipping, vaccinations, and extra treatments for Mum are not included in the free desexing.
If you’d like to add them, we can organise it at our rescue discount—just pre-pay to Enchanted Rescue before Mum’s appointment. (Prices vary by clinic.)

Your part in the plan:
Keep Mum strictly indoors and away from undesexed males until her appointment.
Transport Mum to and from the partner clinic.
If Mum is already pregnant at surgery, the vet will charge a pregnancy surcharge—this is paid directly to the clinic on the day.
Raise the kittens with mum until 8 weeks and then surrender the entire litter to Enchanted Rescue. We’ll coordinate collection.
We’ll book Mum’s desexing after the kittens are safely in our care at 8 weeks.

Kittens: what to expect:
All kittens from this litter are surrendered to us at 8 weeks of age.
Please don’t sell, give away, or rehome any privately—we’ll take care of vet work and adoption matching.
Want to adopt one later? You’re welcome to apply! Our team will guide you through it when they’re ready.

Got Dad too?
If you also have the father cat, let us know when you apply. We may be able to help desex him as well under the program.

Why we do it:
Every mum deserves a rest. Desexing helps prevent future litters, protects Mum’s health, and gives her babies a safe, vetted pathway into loving homes. You’re doing a wonderful thing—thank you. 💜

Quick FAQs
